Golf For golf lovers, the Grandhotel Pupp is truly an ideal choice. In the immediate vicinity of Karlovy Vary, there are three 18-hole courses and one 9-hole course. There are another 6 courses which are maintained by Mariánské Lázně and other spa towns in western Bohemia.

The oldest one, now no longer preserved, was opened right on the outskirts of Karlovy Vary in 1904, and was soon followed by Mariánské Lázně. Incidentally, the latter today proudly bears a royal title, granted to the local golf club in 2013 by Queen Elizabeth II herself.
