Welcome to the mountains

The Ore Mountains, which tower majestically over Karlovy Vary, literally turn into a ski paradise in winter. The Grandhotel Pupp is a great place where you can start your journey to the mountains.

Shortly after breakfast, you can enjoy tens of kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes in Klínovec, the highest mountain in the Ore Mountains. If you prefer the more intimate atmosphere of smaller resorts, we especially recommend the Plešivec ski resort. Ski passes to both resorts will be gladly arranged by the reception staff.
In addition, the forests and plains of the Ore Mountains are interwoven with tens of kilometers of marked and carefully maintained ski trails for cross-country skiing. If you only want to go cross-country skiing for a short time, there is a cross-country circuit on the course of the Karlovy Vary Golf Resort.
